Civic Ballet of Volusia County

Civic Ballet of Volusia County

The mission of the Civic Ballet of Volusia County is to provide an entity to promote the art of ballet in the greater Daytona Beach area and to cultivate a community appreciation of the ballet and all other forms of dance.

CBVC provides children and young adults from throughout the region a chance to perform in a production of the Nutcracker based solely on their talent and level of achievement, regardless of their town or studio affiliation.  All roles for the production are cast from audition or by invitation.  We are adding a spectacular Spring event, The Festival of Dance, as an additional avenue to promote dance and foster love of the arts to all children in our community. The CBVC is pleased to enhance the lives of hundreds of area outreach children by bringing dance to them through our NUTCRACKER performances and Community Outreach Programs.  Some of our partnerships include providing tickets to shows and free dance classes to children from Food Brings Hope, Volusia Foster Care Families, Girl Scouts of Citrus Council,  PACE Center for Girls, Title One, and others. The CBVC enhances and expands the greater Daytona Beach area's cultural scene while supporting and rewarding our young people's talents and accomplishments.

The CBVC is honored to present our 2016 Artistic Director and Assistant Artistic Director!  Their extensive backgrounds and highly impressive resumes are equalled by their creativity and enthusiasm. Welcome to the CBVC, Natasha and Eileen!
