JAZZ/MUSICAL THEATER MASTER
Max Sjostrom is a performer and choreographer residing in Orlando, Florida where he performs in multiple shows for the world's largest entertainment companies such as Walt Disney World and Universal Studios. As a member of the Actors Equity Association he has shared his knowledge for the art and business with students and studios throughout the East coast, choreographing competitive numbers, offering master classes, and adjudicating national competitions. From choreographing for Hard Rock International to back-up dancing for Kesha, he continues to take on new and challenging opportunities, learning from each to bring the best to everything he does.
HIP HOP MASTER
Madison Harris, dance instructor and owner of VYB Dance Company and C.S.O.D.’S Dance Empire, was born in Tampa, Florida where her dance training started at the age of 4. During her early years of training, she performed roles with Neil Patrick Harris at Disney’s Epcot, Charice Pempengco with WCDE, and Busch Gardens to name a few.
Competing for many years, Madison Has received numerous awards for her training and her choreography. She attended the Broadway Dance Center in 2009 for a summer scholarship, also she auditioned for Joffrey Hip Hop Program in 2017, and trained in New York for 3 weeks.
After her competing days were over, she found a love for choreographing. With that door opening, it lead her to many opportunities, such as, winning best choreography in 2012 for Young Choreographers at Dance America. Her Choreography has won High Score Duo/Trio at (Masquerade, Groove, WCDE, Dance Makers, IDC, Dance America, Onstage America, Shake The Ground, Star Systems, Applause Talent) Madison’s Studio C.S.O.D.’s Dance Empire has one Top Studio at (Masquerade, Star Systems, Groove, Onstage America, International Dance Challenge). Her other Studio VYB Dance Company won World of Dance Atlanta Champion, one of the hardest Urban Dance Competitions in the industry. This past year one of Madison’s pieces was sent to California for IDA Awards in “Best Contemporary” “Best Lyrical”. Madison’s numbers have been nominated for “Best Hip Hop” “Best Jazz” “Best Musical Theater”. She teaches weekly Open Classes in Tampa, for teens and Adults. Madison Loves Spreading love and energy from Hip Hop to Contemporary.
Cervilio Miguel Amador, Principal Dancer at the Cincinnati Ballet and three-time guest Cavalier for our CBVC Nutcracker, trained with the Vocational Ballet School in Camagüey, Cuba and National Ballet School of Cuba. He danced with the National Ballet of Cuba as a corps de ballet dancer and corifeo (demi-soloist) before joining Cincinnati Ballet in 2004 as a Soloist. He was promoted to Senior Soloist in 2005 and Principal Dancer in 2006, and has danced numerous lead roles in full-length ballets throughout his extensive career at Cincinnati Ballet, including Romeo Romeo and Juliet, King Arthur in King Arthur’s Camelot, Puck in A Midsummer Night’s Dream and Peter in Peter Pan. He has also had several new works created on him by esteemed contemporary choreographers such as Adam Hougland, Jennifer Archibald and Ma Cong. In 2014, Amador was invited to perform at Lumenocity on a balcony suspended on Cincinnati’s Music Hall as part of the renowned light show and has been invited three times to dance at the Titas Command Performance Gala in Dallas, Texas, among several of the top ballet dancers in the world.
